PHWOARTY-FIVE? HOW OLD DID YOU SAY CINDY CRAWFORD,

Wednesday 13 July 2011

The supermodel, has a body that many women – even those half her age – can only dream of. She left traffic at a standstill as she posed in a series of figure-hugging outfits for a new ad campaign for Deichmann shoes in New York this week.
The US model drew particularly admiring glances when she slipped into a purple Herve Leger bandage dress, grey suede shoe boots and a hip-skimming black leather jacket.
But Cindy was not the only supermodel making other women envious this week.
Danish beauty Helena Christensen, 42, looked as trim as in her 1990s heyday as she relaxed in a multi-coloured floral bikini on holiday on the island of Ischia in Italy. The tiny, triangle two-piece barely contained her curves which were, naturally, in all the right places.
Both Cindy and Helena are advocates of healthy eating and exercise. Cindy recently admitted: “I try to be 80 per cent good, 80 per cent of the time.”
Meanwhile, Helena tries to work out four times a week for 45 minutes at least – and has taken up boxing.
“It’s not like I wake up in the morning going, ‘Oh I’m so perfect, I don’t need to do anything,” she said, admitting to body hang-ups, “just like other women.”
The model and photographer, who first hit the big time on the catwalk when she was just 21, has recently been chosen to front a new premium range of lingerie for Triumph.
To mark the underwear company’s 125th anniversary she will appear in a selection of nude silk bras, scarlet corsets and suspenders.
The campaign looks set to send male temperatures soaring.
