Pose in Playboy Daisy Lowe

Daisy Lowe, the gorgeous daughter of Gavin Rossdale, is set to bare it all in the pages of Playboy.

It's kind of surprising that the beautiful brunette known for her work as a runway model would pose in the nude when she probably doesn't need to (surely she can't be short on cash, and she looks sexy enough with her designer clothes on), but perhaps she's just trying to keep up with the other stylish rock star daughters that have appeared sans clothing.

After all, The Bush frontman's offspring has quite a bit of competition in Mick Jagger's daughter Lizzy, who stripped down for the men's mag just two months ago. Keith Richards' daughter Alexandra also posed nude for the French version of Playboy last year.

The 22-year-old daughter of musician/designer Pearl Lowe didn't even know that Gavid Rossdale was her dad until a recent paternity test proved it, so Daisy Lowe also has something in common with rock star daughter Liv Tyler.

Daisy Lowe is well-known across the pond for her quirky sense of style (she's kind of like the English version of Zooey Deschanel), and she's also made headlines by dating Dr. Who star Matt Smith. Dr. Who is gaining popularity in the U.S., so the couple could start getting more of a following in the States after Daisy's Playboy appearance (an attempt at gaining popularity in America might also have something to do with the nude photo spread).

Whatever her reason for taking on the job, Daisy will make her Playboy debut in the September issue, and it will be very interesting to see if her issue sells better than Lizzy Jagger's.
